Week by week Timetable

Week 1
Initial assignment given. Thinking about what I want to do my project on. Fashion, Landscape, portraiture?

Week 2
Going more into depth with the ideas, decided on 1 final idea. Fashion. Looking into photographers. Inspiring images. Dissecting the images that we like and take inspiration from.

Week 3
Sending out casting calls looking for models and MUA’s. Planning the shoot and the location, what lighting to use, time of day and date. Looking into what household items we will be using in the shoot, and how we can use them. What type of clothing are we going to go for? Experimenting with ideas.

Week 4
Hopefully doing the shoot in the chosen location. Be it studio or location. Perhaps trying out both. Shooting basic ideas, experimenting with lighting, make up looks, hairstyles and clothing types that we want to use for the final images.
Week 5
Looking over the images that i’ve shot. Deciding where I like best, and times. Refining the idea I have come up with to adapt to what I like and what best goes with my theme. Still looking at photographers and gathering information on the images I like the look of and find inspiring.

Week 6
More shoots. Adapting the clothing for the most impact on the chosen subject. Changing models and make up styles if needs. Keep shooting, all whilst still looking at images and dissecting them. Putting everything in my workbook and blog. Keeping up to date.

Week 7
Starting the research into my book, using Blurb.com. How many pages, hardback, soft back? Beginning to put the text in and some preliminary images. Documenting each step and putting it in my blog and workbook.

Week 8
Process of Elimination. Deciding what images should be going in the book and why. Deciding if a book is the best bet, pros and cons. Looking into other avenues of displaying my work. Prints, Canvas?

Week 9
Beginning the draft of my conclusion. Deciding on the layout of my book, what information to use, what images and the placement. Gathering all the information I have used for my bibliography.

Week 10
Sending my book off for printing. Allowing time for postal mistakes. This must include all information and images that I feel show my project off to the best extent. Whilst this is happening, getting my workbook up to date with everything that might not be finished. Such as magazine clippings, information, photos and research.
